The Physiotherapy department has been providing its service since 2015 B.S. Since then it has become a Centre of excellence in the field of rehabilitation for the eastern region of Nepal. The physiotherapy department is providing state of art physiotherapy services for the patient in eastern Nepal. Physiotherapy problems mostly seen in this department are trauma, sports injury, spinal trauma, hand injured, degenerative disease including osteoarthritis of knee and hip, pediatric physiotherapy problem, neurological problems, etc. Day by day physiotherapy department is transforming into an advance state of art department. Now with the introduction of Purbanchal cancer hospital, sisters organization of B & C medical college teaching hospital and research Centre. Department is also taking care of cancer patient. Experienced physiotherapists are running outpatient and inpatient services round the clock. Physiotherapy is well equipped with TRACTION, TENS,IFT, HYDROCOLLATORAL, WAX BATH, PHYSIO BALL, ULTRA-SOUND, and MUSCLE STIMULATOR. Apart from those activities, the department also focuses on academic activities like seminars, CME, weekly classes, and organizing the national conference.
