Our hospital offers a comprehensive range of anaesthesia services, delivered by a team of highly skilled anaesthesiologists who specialize in the latest advancements in anaesthesiology and pain management available nationwide.
The Department of Anaesthesiology also plays a critical role in Critical Care, Pre-Operative Assessment, and Pain Medicine. Our dedicated team of anaesthesiologists is available 24/7 to ensure safe and effective anaesthesia care for patients of all age groups.
The department is equipped with state-of-the-art anaesthesia workstations and advanced patient monitoring systems. The hospital features 12 fully equipped modular Operation Theatres (OTs), one minor OT, and a separate septic OT designated for infectious cases. We utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) system to maintain detailed patient records throughout the preoperative period.
Before any surgical procedure, every patient undergoes a comprehensive pre-anaesthetic evaluation. This includes a thorough medical history, physical examination with a focus on airway and spinal assessment, and referral to specialists when necessary.
A detailed pre-anaesthetic form is completed for accurate documentation. On the day of surgery, after receiving pre-medication, the patient is taken to a fully equipped OT where expert anaesthesia professionals administer general or regional anaesthesia, ensuring the highest standard of care and safety.
